DIOHAS Meeting -  Our guest speaker is Wayne Timperley, a Regulatory Specialist at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC). The title of Wayne’s presentation is “The Changing world of Building Safety and your role in it” Link to Presentation

The Building Safety Act 2022 has been said to be the biggest change to building safety in 40 years. In this presentation entitled “The changing world of Building Safety and your role in it”. LABC will signpost the key changes to the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended) from October 2023 in England. These include the role of duty holders, the role of the BSR and Building Control Authorities.
